WHO WE ARE

The United as One Lutheran Parish is a 4-point parish in northwest North Dakota. We are formed by Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Powers Lake, Bethel Lutheran in Battleview, Trinity Lutheran in rural Kenmare, and Elmdale Lutheran in Niobe. While we share a pastor and secretary, our congregations are four distinct individual congregations, with each having their own buildings, memberships, councils, and traditions.

OUR STAFF

Pauline Crowder, Pastor

Pastor Pauline was recently called to serve with the United As One Lutheran Parish. She moved to Powers Lake with her husband Larry and two sons in August of 2022, and they have enjoyed their first year getting to know the community. She spent twelve years with Bowdon-Bremen-Concordia near Fessenden, ND, and enjoys rural ministry and smaller town life. She also has experience with global mission in West Africa and outdoor ministries at Camp of the Cross.

Jean Quigley, Lay Leader

Jean Quigley will continue on staff as a part-time lay leader, after serving the parish for the past year and a half as co-interim lay ministers with her spouse Bryan.  This is a new chapter for her in ministry, and she will assist with preaching and worship leading, teaching, and visitation. Jean and Bryan live near Kenmare and are members at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Lani Lucy, Secretary

Lani Lucy serves as our parish secretary, working from the office at Holy Cross. She works behind the scenes to make sure our churches have bulletins, calendars, and newsletters. She is a member at Holy Cross and lives with her family in rural Powers Lake.
